Chronicles at Work!!

Where ever I have worked I have ended up making the sweetest friends out of my collegues. It takes the pressure of deadlines and add that fun element that is so required. We all drive each other and have equal amounts of fun getting work done. Its because of this that I have never tired of work and always love getting to office on time. This and the fact that I have gchat at work (smirk). So this post is about such chronicles at work..they are random and I will refrain from naming my mates as a lotta fun is had past office rules!! :)

We have....

.....had a full fledged gand prix with hot wheel cars making ramps outta office furniture complete with tracks and running bets

.....changed clothes in the office loos and headed out partying all night

.....shopped the whole working day aways with our Vice President in tow

.....sneaked out for a full 3 hour hindi film and enjoyed each moment of the "partner in crime" feeling

.....gone home and slept like shameless pigs after a full course meal

.....sneaked in my cat tipu for a day at work and had him lounge int he file cabinet when our boss entered

.....packed our bags on a friday night and hijacked our boss to goa for the weekend

.....created a matrimonial profile with fake atrociuos data and posted it online with out his knowledge

.....taken back up of entire data and deleted everthing on the computer for them to discover it the next day

.....stolen and hidden all stapler pins, even those inside the sapler from the entire office

......set an embarassing picture as their wall paper to greet them in the morning

......changed the font colours to white on the main xls database sheet and yelled at them for deleting data

......got drenched in white shirts and run for the blazers the boys so reluntantly lent

Oh thanks to all the madness office has always been a bearable place and I have loved each and every moment of my corporate life and am hoping to for a while now.

Vagaries of an uncertain Mind

The mind is the most gorgeous place in this universe, to understand it one needs it and what could be more paradoxical. Its one part of our existence that would always remain a mystery of sorts - unpredictable, unfathomable and still understandable. Its true that over the years our minds have been tamed and tend to go through classical conditioning. Many have walked the path of exploring the human mind, the common thought process, the different reactions to the same situation, the battled of the id, the ego and the super ego, the science of nerves, the debate between the left and the right brains, the influence of psychological factors and many such parameters. 

The science behind this - intricate, the psychiatry - logical, the complete comprehension - elusive. 

Ever wonder why a portion of the population is abnormal? I consider them super normal like super man, their minds are different, their thoughts are complicated, their perception of reality far greater than our, their understanding of human emotions is advanced and their method to madness,just uncanny. They are the evolving beings, the future of humanity.

Imagination is the fuel, the medium it thrives in - it can take us to places at the blink of an eyelid, a fragrance can make you relive an emotion, a touch can transport you to a parallel universe, a conversation with a stranger can make you see reason to life and reading a prose about love can rekindle a distant warmth. Its all in the mind...the state of mind you want to be in - all you!!   

If I were to learn the working of a normal human brain I would not be bothered because its the vagaries of an uncertain mind that fascinate me.
